We are not a typical letting agency with set office hours, you will be able to contact us at all times if you have any issues.

Frequently Asked Questions:

 

  • What happens when I find a property I like?  We will need to take a holding deposit (equivalent to one week's rent) from you so that we can secure the property and remove it from the market while we check your references.  We will need to speak to your employer, your current landlord/letting agency, and verify your identity.  Once the reference checks are successful we will agree a moving in date and you will sign the tenancy agreement on the date you move in.

 

  • What happens to my deposit? You will need to pay one month's rent on the date you move in, as well as a deposit which is usually at least one month's rent.  The deposit will be held securely with the Deposit Protection Service and will be returned to you after you move out of the property, provided your rent is paid to date and there is no damage to the property or its contents.

 

  • How much will it cost? You will need to pay the first month's rent and deposit on the day you move in, minus the holding deposit you will have already paid.  You will also need to budget to pay for other costs such as council tax and utility bills once you have moved into the property.  We will be able to give you an indication of these costs when you have found the property you like.
